My Guinness!

In all seriousness though it has been far too long since I updated this thing. I find it hard to believe it is nearing the end of July. A good job and actually living with people rather than occupying the same space has seemed to accelerate the flow of time.

Work is quite entertaining and I love it so. I'm the sole 3D modeler, drafter, and general engineer at the company so it's busy but I also get to do a lot of interesting things; (most all of which affect the company so it's actually important too!)

I also had the occasion to turn 22 this month. Such an occasion only happens once a year and I nearly missed out. What a tragedy it would have been if I hadn't realized it was my birthday and continued being 21, all the wisdom and maturity I received upon being a year older would have passed me by, forcing me to wait yet another year. Fortunately I noticed in time so I was able to receive the boons of aging one more year.

Also along the way I was shanghaied into going to CONvergence, the local SciFi convention, with many of my friends. It was quite entertaining and I somehow found myself participating in the masquerade which was quite nerve racking up to the point of getting onto stage. We went as team fortress 2 characters where I was the spy, so at least I looked good wearing a suit.

Otherwise life's been busy but fun, hopefully everything can continue like this for a while.
